Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity is a mid-sized German company based in Würselen near Aachen and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Munich-based technology group Rohde & Schwarz. Constantin von Reden and Robert Mallinson manage the company. Lothar Kronen, Dr. Ulrich Halka, and Uwe Greunke form the extended management board and support the management in their strategic work.
Constantin von Reden
Managing Director
Constantin von Reden (born 1978) has been Managing Director of Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity since March 2025. His responsibilities include corporate and portfolio strategy.
Constantin graduated in aerospace engineering in Munich and was an officer in the German Air Force, where he gained a wealth of international experience. He then held various roles at R&S Networks and Cybersecurity's parent company Rohde & Schwarz in Munich, most recently as Vice President Market Segment Air Traffic Control & Air Defense, where he was responsible for profit and loss for communications systems worldwide in the areas of air traffic control, airports, and air defense. From April 2021 he was Managing Director of Frequentis Comsoft, a provider of safety-critical IT solutions for air traffic control organizations.
Constantin is married and has his office in Würselen.
Robert Mallinson
Co-Managing Director, responsible for Sales
Robert Mallinson (born 1979) has since March 2025 been part of the R&S Networks and Cybersecurity management team as Co-Managing Director in charge of Sales. He has been responsible for the company's overall sales since November 2023.
Robert has many years of experience in management and industry. At Siemens AG he was responsible for purchasing IP networks equipment before taking over the European carrier business at network manufacturer Cisco Systems in 2007. He then headed key account sales in the North/East region for a further five years. His professional profile is rounded off with experience in the initiation of a start-up and many years working as general sales manager for the SME, avodaq AG.
Robert Mallinson studied International Business at Loughborough University in England. He is married and has a child.
Lothar Kronen
Extended management board, Chief Financial Officer
Lothar Kronen (born 1963) became CFO and authorized signatory at Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity in January 2008.
Lothar Kronen started his professional career in the IT department of the Westdeutsche Landesbank in 1989. He then spent more than 6 years with the Czewo Full Filling Service group, a contract service provider producing personal care items. Shortly after joining the company, he took over as CFO at one of the four production sites.
In 2001 Lothar Kronen moved to the Aachen site of the automotive supplier Hutchinson GmbH, where he worked as CFO. In 2007 as Finance Director, Lothar Kronen oversaw the sale of the listed company Parsytec AG to ISRA Vision AG.
Lothar Kronen studied business administration at the University of Cologne with a focus on finance, taxation and informatics. He is married and has two grown-up children.
Dr. Ulrich Halka
Extended management board, Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Ulrich Halka (born 1964) has been a member of the extended Management Board since August 2019 and is responsible for the Support, Service and Training departments.
Prior to joining R&S Networks and Cybersecurity in 2018, he held a leading position at Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG. His career path has seen him in responsible roles at AEG, Nokia—where he was managing director of the German headquarters—and Accenture.
Ulrich Halka studied electrical engineering (Dr. Ing.) in Bochum, Germany, where he majored in information and communication technology and digital signal processing.
He is married and has two children.
Uwe Greunke
Extended Management Board, Chief Marketing Officer
Uwe Greunke (born 1966) has joined Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity in 2021 as CMO in the executive management team responsible for marketing.
Uwe Greunke has been working in the field of marketing and strategy for more than 25 years, focusing his career on the agency/service provider side. He has worked for international agencies such as Pixelpark, where he was Managing Director of the Hamburg office. He also worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey. For the last 10 years, Uwe Greunke has held responsible marketing roles for international medium-sized companies such as Sennheiser and Designa.
Uwe Greunke graduated as a media engineer (Dipl. Ing.) at the Stuttgart Media University as well as a postgraduate degree in industrial engineering with a focus on marketing. In addition, he is the author of books including "ReNew Marketing", which was published by SpringerGabler.
He is married and has two children.
