LCOS SX 5.30 RU2 features

For switches of the CS and YS series

Various bug fixes and product improvements

LCOS SX 5.20 RU12 bugfixing

For switches of the XS-6000, XS-5000, and XS/GS-4500 series

  • The stability of R&S®LMC communication has been improved. After a restart or crash of the SNMP interface, invalid parameters are no longer transmitted to the LMC, ensuring that rollouts can still be performed.
  • The processing of static routing entries during R&S®LMC rollouts has been optimized. This prevents high CPU utilization, process terminations, and the loss of routing entries.
  • Fixed an issue that caused R&S®LMC rollouts to fail when DNS server addresses contained a "9" (IPv4) or an "f" (IPv6) in the last octet.
  • Compatibility of R&S®LANCOM SFP-DAC40-1M/-3M cables with GS-/XS-45xx switches and Unified Firewalls equipped with the UF Extension Module 2x40G QSFP+ has been improved.
  • Distribution of PoE schedule profiles within GS-45xx stacks has been corrected. The PoE scheduler now functions as intended on stack members as well.
  • CPU utilization on the XS-4530YUP and XS-4554YUP has been reduced by improving the efficiency of link LED control.

LCOS SX 4.30 RU7 features & bugfixes

For switches of the XS-3500, GS-3600, GS-3500, GS-3200, IGS-3000, and GS-2400 series as well as GS-3152(P/X/XP/XSP) and GS-3126(X/XP)

  • Zero-touch capability in pure IPv6 networks via DHCPv6 Option 17
  • Addition of voice attribute configuration via RADIUS
  • Logging of accounting data for 802.1x authentication events
  • Addition of a query option for TACACS+ server status via CLI
  • Integration of the LANCOM GS-3152P (EOS since March 2023)

Note for LCOS SX download

Before upgrading your device to a new firmware it is essential to backup your device’s configuration.
